2030 Annual Conference

Virtual & Life Changing

The Intersection of Trauma on Black Health, Religion and Life

The COVID-19 global pandemic, alarming rates of mental illness, food insecurity, and the ongoing assault of racism, reflect the public health challenges and injustice that Black people face on a daily basis. Let's work together to stop this trauma.

We extend an invitation to all pastors, ministers, public health leaders, churches, community activists, missionaries, deacons, community health workers, health care professionals, corporate leaders, and all who believe in health equity and justice for Black people!

Why Attend?

The mission of the 9th Annual 2030 Healthy Churches Conference is to properly equip churches and congregational health ministries with the tools and resources needed to maintain a healthy, thriving wellness ministry. The goal is to aid in the elimination of health disparities in the Black community and bring awareness to the many traumas that exist under the surface of daily life for the Black community.

The Balm In Gilead Inc. will host the 9th Annual Healthy Churches 2030 Conference on the vFairs Virtual Conference platform. vFairs is a visually rich online platform that gives our attendees from all over the world the chance to interact virtually with the nation's top public health and faith leaders and get information and resources they can use in their ministerial and community programs.
Sessions will be live with an interactive Q & A session unless otherwise noted. Symposiums and Institutes will take place via vFairs. There is no need to download any additional equipment to access the session. Like when attending the conference on-site, you will be allowed to select which sessions you'd like to attend virtually. It is up to you to decide which sessions interest you in a given time block and to attend those sessions as desired.
The Healthy Churches 2030 Conference Best Practice Awards Ceremony will highlight congregations from across the United States who are doing extraordinary work in health promotion.
Your virtual conference registration includes access to all plenary and virtual session recordings approximately 96 hours after the session concludes. Don't worry; you can view any sessions you missed as soon as the recordings for those sessions are made available on vFairs. Note that not all sessions are being recorded. However, those that are will be available for you to access at no additional charge using a conference login for 365 days.
You can download documents from any sponsor or partner by clicking the "Document" tab on their stand in the Exhibit Hall, which will show you the different documents that different sponsors and partners have uploaded. By clicking "Download," your selected document(s) will be added to your Virtual Swag Bag, and you can download them all at once when you exit the Healthy Churches 2030 Virtual Conference.
